Next Scheduled North American Appraisal Tour

The next North American appraisal tour will be held October 11th through 21st 2009.  Please see the schedule below.  Location and contact details will be made available soon.  Please check back soon.

Please email the USA and Canadian SABT office at office@sabt-usa.org to request an appraisal for your Boerboel if you are not on the list already.

Please note too that their will be a two-day Breeder Course October 11th and 12th in Concord, NC.  The course starts at 8:00 AM on both days.  Please click on SABT Breeders Course to sign up for the breeders course.

The South African appraisers are Johan van Wyk, Yvonne van Wyk and Thys von Solms.

Please take note that due to Thys' recent accident, every venue he was assigned to, will be moved to a later date. These dates will be listed soon.

Signing up for an Appraisal

• Due to insurance requirements in North America only SABT members can have their Boerboels appraised.  Please make sure you take care of signing up for membership in advance as you will not be allowed at the venue unless you are a member already.  Please follow the instructions on the SABT Membership application form to sign up for membership.
• Dogs to be appraised should also be signed up.  Please click on the SABT Boerboel appraisal signup form.

The pre-registration fee for the fall appraisal is $100 per dog.  Members can pre-register their Boerboel until September 30, 2009.  Any Boerboels registered after this date will be charged $125 per dog.

When you attend an appraisal venue, you must present a birth certificate and/or the original registration certificate for the dog being appraised.  The birth or registration certificate must list the member as the owner.  If your documentation does not show you as the owner, please contact offce@sabt-usa.org for further instructions.

Together with providing a birth or registration certificate to the event host, the owner also needs to turn in his or her SABT account statement.  Requests for a current statement will be sent via e-mail through October 9th.
