How to Stay in Touch

As mentioned on the home page, this site is also the SABT newsletter, if you will, for North America. If you request to be notified, the SABT will notify you when it posts news or new articles on this site.

The following safety measures are taken around emails and the email addresses the Boerboel community provides the SABT here in the USA:

When the SABT sends bulk notifications, others on the same email transmission will not be able to see your email address.
These email addresses are not kept in one of the standard/known electronic address books. This means that your email address is also protected from viruses and spyware trying to collect email addresses from the address books they are familiar with.
The workstations and servers used to send you email, all run the latest anti-virus releases and security hotfixes.
These emails are never given out to anyone outside the SABT.
Only the SABT has the entire email list. The email data is handled on a "need to know" basis. Regional Reps from time to time will be exposed to the email addresses of people in their region. Understandably the SABT does not have any control over the personal computers of the Regional Reps and the SABT requests the reps to put your email addresses in a safe place -- either a non-standard client address "book" or in their ISP's protected areas.
If you send email to the SABT, your email is not automatically added to the email list. You explicitly have to ask to have your email added to the list and you have to email from the email account you want added to the list.

Please remember that if you use a SPAM filter, configure it so that it will not reject email from no-replay@sabt-usa.org or office@sabt.co.za.
